Sous Chef, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk £28'000-£32'000 + Tips/Profit Share.

Bread Hospitality are working with this fantastic Award winning venue, Set in the beautiful Suffolk countryside this pub has undergone a sympathetic refurbishment and is recognised as one of the best places to visit locally and nationally.

We are now seeking a Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in all aspects of the kitchen, working closely with him to develop and push for a Michelin Star. The menu is 100% fresh and seasonal with ingredients sourced as local as possible. We are looking for a creative chef who is not afraid to push boundaries and experiment with exciting flavours.

You will be working with the Head Chef on all menu development as well as taking an active role in mentoring and training the junior members of the kitchen team.

Person -

  • You will be an experienced Chef cooking to at least a 2 Rosette standard.

  • You will be a driven, hardworking, and friendly individual wanting to progress within their career.

  • Have a real passion for the food and drink scene.

  • Leadership and mentorship personality
