Professional Housekeeper – Private Household

We are seeking an experienced, dedicated Professional Housekeeper to join a prestigious private household just outside Norwich. This is a unique opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, has a keen eye for detail, and will care for the home as if it were their own.

You will be responsible for maintaining the property to the highest possible standards, ensuring it is immaculate at all times. In addition to housekeeping duties, you will meet and greet guests upon arrival, ensuring they feel warmly welcomed and comfortable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily cleaning, tidying, and presentation of the property to exceptional standards

• Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe care as required

• Polishing and care of furnishings, fixtures, and delicate items

• Welcoming and assisting guests upon arrival

• Reporting and arranging any necessary maintenance or repairs

• Seasonal deep cleans and organisation of household supplies

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous private household or luxury hospitality experience

• Impeccable attention to detail and pride in their work

• A professional, discreet, and friendly manner

• Strong organisational skills and initiative

• The ability to anticipate household needs and act proactively

• A full driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to rural location)

Hours & Benefits:

• Mostly Monday to Friday (occasional flexibility required)

• Hours and rates of pay negotiable for the right candidate

• Option to live on-site in a private, self-contained cottage if desired

• Beautiful working environment in the Norfolk countryside
