The venue is a picture-perfect luxury hall where magic happens, and we need a stellar Operations Manager to make sure it all runs like clockwork. Job Overview: We're on the hunt for an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to keep this luxury wedding venue and accommodations running smoothly. You'll be the backstage star making sure every wedding is top-notch and every guest leaves with a smile, all while upholding the reputation for being the best in the business. Weddings:

  • Work closely with the events team to nail down each couple’s vision and make their wedding dreams come true.

  • Keep an eagle eye on everything – from the setup and decorations to keeping the schedule on point.

  • Be the boss of the catering crew to ensure the food and drinks are a hit.

  • Lead our event staff like a pro, making sure everything runs like a well-oiled machine.

Accommodation:

  • Keeping rooms fully booked and ensure everyone gets the perfect space.

  • Keep things spick and span in guest rooms and common areas.

  • Be the go-to person for guest questions and special requests.

  • Elevate our guest services to the next level.

Lead the Team:

  • Build a top-notch crew by hiring, training, and motivating them to be their best.

  • Set the bar high with clear standards, regular feedback, and performance reviews.

  • Create a friendly and productive work vibe where teamwork and taking responsibility are the name of the game.

Vendor Wrangling:

  • Make friends with external vendors like florists, photographers, and entertainers.

  • Get the best deals by negotiating contracts that work for us.

  • Make sure our vendors live up to our high standards.

Money Matters:

  • Keep a close eye on the financials, making sure budgets are hit.

  • Find smart ways to save money without sacrificing quality.

  • Whip up regular financial reports.

Safety First:

  • Make sure we're following all the health and safety rules to keep everyone safe and sound.

  • Have a plan for emergencies and keep things secure.

The Person:

  • Ideally experience in luxury event management/hospitality.

  • Be a natural leader with great communication and organization skills.

  • Tech-savvy with event planning software, booking systems, and the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Have a knack for problem-solving and a laser focus on the details.

  • Ready to roll on weekends and evenings when events happen.

  • Up to speed on all the latest trends and cool stuff happening in luxury weddings and hospitality.
