We’re on the lookout for a passionate and ambitious Head Chef who’s ready to make their mark. This is a chance to take full ownership of a newly reopened country pub (relaunched in 2023) and help shape its future. Right now, the food offering is simple, honest pub classics serving around 50–60 covers a day, but the real opportunity here is to put your own stamp on the menu, develop new ideas and grow the food side of the business into something special.
To begin with, you’ll be the sole chef in the kitchen, supported by kitchen porters and agency chefs on hand as needed. Over time, as the pub grows and service expands, you’ll have the chance to build your own team around you.
If you’re someone with solid pub or casual dining experience, who loves cooking great food without the fuss, and you’re excited by the challenge of building a kitchen from the ground up, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
