Head Chef (Pub) - Wymondham - £35'000 - £40'000 + Bonus + Tips

Bread Hospitality has teamed up with this fantastic food led pub in South Norfolk just a short distance from Norwich. Our spec is to find an exceptional leader and established Head Chef to lead an exciting brigade of ambitious chefs looking to offer a fresh menu to an ever-growing customer base.


The ideal candidate would be a real ‘foodie’ with a strong background in creating exciting menus using local suppliers and creating their own twist on the pub classics. You will inherit a great brigade of skilled junior chefs who are looking to develop their own career under a highly skilled head chef’s direction. We are seeking an ambitious individual who has a calm temperament and the ability to cope under pressure. You will need to act as a mentor and trainer for the junior team and develop both the offering and brigade simultaneously.


The Responsibilities….

  • Full day to day management of the kitchen

  • Full menu creation

  • Managing the kitchen GP

  • You must possess excellent culinary and presentation skills.

  • Managing a full kitchen team – briefing, supervising and motivating team members.

  • Great back-office knowledge when it comes to stock management, recruitment, training and development and other management duties.

  • Having the ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
