Bread Hospitality has teamed up with this fantastic food led pub in South Norfolk just a short distance from Norwich. Our spec is to find an exceptional leader and established Head Chef to lead an exciting brigade of ambitious chefs looking to offer a fresh menu to an ever-growing customer base.
The ideal candidate would be a real ‘foodie’ with a strong background in creating exciting menus using local suppliers and creating their own twist on the pub classics. You will inherit a great brigade of skilled junior chefs who are looking to develop their own career under a highly skilled head chef’s direction. We are seeking an ambitious individual who has a calm temperament and the ability to cope under pressure. You will need to act as a mentor and trainer for the junior team and develop both the offering and brigade simultaneously.
The Responsibilities….
Full day to day management of the kitchen
Full menu creation
Managing the kitchen GP
You must possess excellent culinary and presentation skills.
Managing a full kitchen team – briefing, supervising and motivating team members.
Great back-office knowledge when it comes to stock management, recruitment, training and development and other management duties.
Having the ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
