Bread Hospitality have been appointed by this up-coming ambitious restaurant business to help secure an exceptional head chef to oversee and manage the kitchen brigade.
This fantastic fresh food café / restaurant is based in the heart of Bury St Edmunds and offers an extensive casual dining menu ranging from the ‘posh toastie’ to creative Ottolenghi style salads. Our brief is to find a creative Head Chef who can transform local ingredients into eye-popping dishes daily.
The ideal candidate would be a real ‘foodie’ with a strong background in leading a team, creating exciting menus and using local suppliers.
Full day to day management of the kitchen
Managing the kitchen GP
Strong understanding of current allergen compliance
You must possess excellent culinary and presentation skills.
Managing a full kitchen team – briefing, supervising and motivating team members.
Great back-office knowledge when it comes to stock management, training and development and other management duties.
Having the ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
£32’000.00 Basis Salary
8am – 5pm Working pattern. (One or two evenings per week)
