We’ve joined forces with this beautiful and bustling village pub (with rooms) just a short drive from Sudbury who are on the hunt for their next Head Chef. We’re looking for a calm, personable and experienced Head Chef, someone who is comfortable with volume (100+ Covers) and feels at home using the freshest locally sourced ingredients to create an exciting seasonal menu. As Head Chef within this forward thinking and progressive company you’ll be working to pre agreed financial targets (business minded) with a strong focus on training and developing the junior members of the team.   • Create an exciting weekly changing specials board.

  • Managing the smooth service of food from the kitchen.

  • You must possess excellent culinary and presentation skills.

  • Managing a full kitchen team – briefing, supervising and motivating team members.

  • Great back-office knowledge when it comes to stock management, recruitment, training and financials.

  • Having the ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
