We’re looking for an experienced Assistant Manager who knows how to run a busy service, build a strong team culture all while making guests feel genuinely welcome. This is a hands-on role in a high-quality pub with rooms, where standards matter, details count, and great leadership makes all the difference.

The Role

  • Leading and inspiring both Front of House and Back of House teams to deliver exceptional service

  • Supporting the General Manager to meet and exceed financial targets

  • Ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless, memorable experience

  • Recruiting, training, and developing team members

  • Managing wet stock and overseeing cash handling procedures

  • Working collaboratively with the wider management team

  • Creating a positive, motivated workplace where people can perform at their best


The Person

  • Previous management experience in hospitality (restaurant, hotel, or similar)

  • A hands-on leader who motivates and supports their team

  • Strong financial awareness and confidence managing stock and cash

  • A passion for delivering high standards of food, drink, and service

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • A genuine desire to grow and develop within a forward-thinking hospitality group
