We’re delighted to be working with this fast-growing food retail business operating multi-site food concepts within a well-known UK supermarket. With over 20 live locations and a significant number of new stores launching this year, they are entering an exciting scale-up phase.


The Role

We’re looking for a fiscally driven Commercial Manager to help lead the next stage of growth. This is a hands-on role, blending strategy and execution from client meetings, applying data analysis to driving performance on the shop floor.


You’ll own sales performance, range and pricing optimisation, key client relationships and turning insight into clear actions that deliver results in store.


The Responsibilities

  • Own and develop the commercial relationship with a major supermarket partner

  • Drive sales growth, like-for-like performance and KPI delivery

  • Lead range reviews, pricing and product profitability analysis

  • Support new product development and launches

  • Own sales reporting, insights and action plans (advanced Excel essential)

  • Lead in-store commercial initiatives and promotional activity

  • Conduct regular store visits to review performance and standards

  • Work closely with Operations to align commercial and operational priorities


The Person

  • Proven commercial experience in food retail, food-to-go or multi-site retail

  • Experience in a business that has scaled or expanded rapidly

  • Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel skills

  • Comfortable working both strategically and hands-on in stores

  • Confident communicator who can influence internally and externally

  • Experience working with major grocery or supermarket environments is a plus
