We’re looking for a talented and confident Senior Sous Chef to join the team at one of the North Norfolk coast’s busiest and most well-regarded pubs.
Known for its quality food, busy trade and strong reputation, we're looking for a capable kitchen leader who can support the Head Chef in delivering a consistently high standard while helping manage and develop the team.
This role would suit an established Senior Sous Chef seeking a fresh challenge or a talented Sous Chef ready to progress within a professional, supportive environment.
The Position
Supporting the Head Chef with all aspects of kitchen operations
Leading service confidently in a high-volume environment
Maintaining excellent food quality, consistency and presentation
Helping manage stock control, ordering and kitchen organisation
Training, mentoring and supporting junior chefs
Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met
Bringing energy, reliability and a positive attitude to the team
The Person
Experience as a Senior Sous Chef or Sous Chef within a high volume fresh food kitchen
Confidence running service and supporting kitchen management
A passion for seasonal produce and quality cooking
Strong communication and leadership skills
A proactive and team-focused approach
Ambition to progress and continue developing your career
The Package
£37,500 basic salary
Approx. £5,000 annual tips
