We’re looking for a talented and confident Senior Sous Chef to join the team at one of the North Norfolk coast’s busiest and most well-regarded pubs.


Known for its quality food, busy trade and strong reputation, we're looking for a capable kitchen leader who can support the Head Chef in delivering a consistently high standard while helping manage and develop the team.


This role would suit an established Senior Sous Chef seeking a fresh challenge or a talented Sous Chef ready to progress within a professional, supportive environment.


The Position

  • Supporting the Head Chef with all aspects of kitchen operations

  • Leading service confidently in a high-volume environment

  • Maintaining excellent food quality, consistency and presentation

  • Helping manage stock control, ordering and kitchen organisation

  • Training, mentoring and supporting junior chefs

  • Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met

  • Bringing energy, reliability and a positive attitude to the team


The Person

  • Experience as a Senior Sous Chef or Sous Chef within a high volume fresh food kitchen

  • Confidence running service and supporting kitchen management

  • A passion for seasonal produce and quality cooking

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • A proactive and team-focused approach

  • Ambition to progress and continue developing your career


The Package

  • £37,500 basic salary

  • Approx. £5,000 annual tips
