We are looking for - An autonomous and talented Head Chef who leads from the front and is keen to get stuck into service.
The ideal candidate would be a real ‘foodie’ with a strong background in creating exciting and seasonal menus using the freshest, local, and best possible produce.
At the heart of this business is a vibrant pub, serving locals and visitors alike. You will inherit a great Sous Chef and Chef De Partie who are looking to develop their own career under a highly skilled Head Chef’s direction. We are seeking an ambitious individual, who is passionate about food and ingredients, can manage a kitchen and has a creative eye for detail.
The Responsibilities
Full day to day management of the kitchen
Managing the kitchen GP to a minimum of 70%
Managing the smooth creation and service of food from the kitchen.
Managing a full kitchen team – briefing, supervising and motivating team members.
Great back-office knowledge when it comes to stock management, costings, training and development.
A real hospitality lover with a keen passion for quality and seasonal produce and drinks.
Fun and friendly that can engage with a local community and team.
Having the ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
