Head Chef, Halesworth, Gastro Pub £40'000 - £45'000 OTE

Bread Hospitality has teamed up with this beautiful award-winning food led pub with rooms a stone’s throw from Halesworth in the wonderful Suffolk countryside. We are looking to find an exceptional and established Head Chef to lead an exciting brigade of ambitious chefs looking to offer a unique menu offering the best local produce available at the highest standard.


The ideal candidate would be a real ‘foodie’ with a strong background in creating exciting menus using local suppliers and creating their own twist on the pub classics. You will inherit a great brigade of skilled junior chefs who are looking to develop their own career under a highly skilled head chef’s direction.


We are seeking an ambitious individual who has a wide range of culinary skills which include butchery and pastry. You would be required to show an exceptional financial understanding of kitchen management and GP controls.


The Responsibilities….

  • Full day to day management of the kitchen

  • Full menu creation

  • You must possess excellent culinary and presentation skills.

  • Managing a full kitchen team – briefing, supervising and motivating team members.

  • Great back-office knowledge when it comes to stock management, recruitment, training and development and other management duties.

  • Having the ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
