Bread is thrilled to be working with this independently owned food-led pub with rooms. The pub prides itself in offering guests a unique dining experience, combining delicious, locally sourced food with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. 


We’re seeking a Head Chef to lead the kitchen team and be responsible for the overall management of the kitchen, from menu planning and creation to food preparation and presentation. You will have the opportunity to bring your creativity to the table while maintaining the commitment to quality and consistency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and update menus that reflect the seasonal availability of fresh, locally sourced ingredients, while also considering guest preferences.

  • Lead, train, and motivate the kitchen team to maintain high standards of food quality and service.

  • Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including portion control, presentation, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards.

  • Manage stock, control food costs, and minimise wastage to maintain profitability.

  • Ensure the kitchen complies with health and safety regulations and consistently maintain a clean and organised workspace.

  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
