Sous Chef, £34'000 OTE, Ipswich

We are working with this beautiful pub and restaurant just outside of Ipswich and are seeking an exceptional Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in all aspects of the kitchen. The menu is a mix of pub classics with a focus on using fresh locally sourced ingredients. We are looking for a passionate and ambitious chef who is keen to progress and develop their skills and be experimental with their plates of food.

You will be working with the Head Chef on all menu development as well as taking an active role in mentoring and training the junior members of the kitchen team.


Person -

  • You will be an experienced Sous Chef or ambitious Junior Sous who has experience working at a high standard.

  • You will be a driven, hardworking, and friendly individual wanting to progress within their career.

  • Have a real passion for the Suffolk food and drink scene.

  • Leadership and mentorship personality
