Reception Manager - Colchester, £26'000 + Perks

We have a fantastic opportunity in Colchester for an experienced Reception Manager to take a leading role in the day-to-day management of the reception and revenue team at this award-winning property.


The ideal candidate would have proven experience within the Hospitality sector however candidates working in a similar position outside of this sector are encouraged to apply -


Key Responsibilities include -

  • Manage the day to day running of a busy hotel reception desk.

  • Manage a small team of receptionists ensuring the highest level of customer service.

  • Working with the team to maximise hotel bookings and occupancy levels.

  • Oversee the accounting and billing procedures to ensure maximum room revenue targets are met.

  • Manage all customer feedback ensuring communications are handled and passed to the correct departments.

  • Set up and manage email marketing campaigns.

  • Work with all department heads to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel management.


Working Hours:

Full-time 40 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 including evenings and weekends.
