Maintenance Manager, £38'000, Kings Lynn

Are you a practical, hands-on problem solver who can turn their hand to just about anything? We’re looking for a Maintenance Manager to join a stunning hotel and lodge near King’s Lynn. If you’re a true jack of all trades with a passion for keeping things running smoothly, we want to hear from you!

As Maintenance Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the grounds and lodgings, ensuring everything from guest rooms to public areas, grounds, and facilities are safe, functional, and looking their best. You’ll take pride in maintaining high standards, responding quickly to issues, and planning preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out general repairs and maintenance (plumbing, basic electrics, painting, carpentry, etc.)

• Managing routine servicing and safety checks (fire alarms, heating systems, appliances, etc.)

• Overseeing contractors and suppliers when required

• Maintaining external areas and grounds to a high standard

• Working closely with the General Manager and housekeeping teams to support smooth operations

• Managing maintenance budgets and stock of tools/materials

We’re looking for someone who’s reliable, proactive, and takes real pride in their work. You’ll be equally comfortable fixing a leaking tap, rewiring a plug, or coordinating a refurbishment project.

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role (hospitality experience a bonus)

• A broad skill set across general trades

• A good understanding of health & safety practices

• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload

• A flexible approach and willingness to respond to occasional out-of-hours emergencies
