Bread Hospitality has teamed up with this fantastic multi award winning food led pub in the heart of Suffolk. Our spec is to find an exceptional Sous or established Head Chef to lead an exciting brigade of ambitious chefs looking to offer a unique menu offering the best local produce available at the highest standard.
The ideal candidate would be a real ‘foodie’ with a strong background in creating exciting menus using local suppliers and creating their own twist on the pub classics. You will inherit a great brigade of skilled junior chefs who are looking to develop their own career under a highly skilled head chef’s direction. We are seeking an ambitious individual who has a wide range of culinary skills which include butchery and pastry. You would be required to show an exceptional financial understanding of kitchen management and GP controls.
Full day to day management of the kitchen
Full menu creation
Managing the kitchen GP to a minimum of 70%
You must possess excellent culinary and presentation skills.
Managing a full kitchen team – briefing, supervising and motivating team members.
Great back-office knowledge when it comes to stock management, recruitment, training and development and other management duties.
Having the ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
