Bread Hospitality has partnered with this historic north Norfolk pub with rooms just a stone’s throw from the coast. Set to open its doors this June after extensive refurbishment, we are seeking an experienced, ambitious, and passionate General Manager to build and lead the team at this beautiful pub.
As General Manager you will be required to deliver amazing customer service whilst building and maintaining a strong rapport with both staff and guests. You will have a real eye for detail and know how to lead by example. You will also have a proven track record of being able to think on your feet and using your own initiative to add something special. You will take overall responsibility for the financial P&L of the operation and report back monthly to the business owners.
We are looking for an outstanding candidate with a passion for food, drink and delivering the highest level of service with an extensive level of pub or restaurant management experience.
The Responsibilities -
Day to Day Management of the business.
Maintaining the highest levels of customer service.
Working towards financial and operational targets set by the new owners.
Champion the Health and Safety, Fire Safety and Food Hygiene compliance
Implement and manage all standard operating procedures.
Working with the Head Chef to continually improve the product, performance, and profitability of the business.
The Person -
Strong people management, development, and mentorship skills
Have a minimum of two years’ experience at General Management level or equivalent within the pub/restaurant trade.
Lead by example in a hands-on role.
