Bread Hospitality are working with this stunning hotel based just a short distance from Diss. We are looking to recruit an ambitious and experienced Duty Manager to assist in the day to day management of the hotel.
As Duty Manager, you will be required to set the example for impeccable customer service and build great rapport with both guests and the staff. You will know what ‘great service’ is and be able to deliver this day in, day out. You will have a proven track record of being able to use your own initiative to add the ‘wow factor’ and delight the guests whilst at the same time being sensitive to the commercial needs of the business.
The Responsibilities –
Provide a warm welcome to all guests and to assist them in a polite and efficient manner
Take full responsibility for the hotel operation during the shift and in the absence of the GM
Assist with any other area of the business, as required e.g. assisting reception with a busy check in
Be fully aware of daily business and activities in the hotel and promote wherever possible
Effectively manage the Food and Beverage staff
To ensure good working relationships with colleagues in the other departments of the hotel
Train and develop team members
In the absence of the Head of Department, to receive, check and sign for deliveries ensuring correct and secure storage
To be fully aware of and adhere to all policies and procedures in the handbook and all Health, Safety and Fire procedures
