We’re recruiting for a confident, experienced, and commercially-minded manager to lead a varied and high-performing catering and hospitality service.


This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in client-facing food operations, a passion for quality, and the drive to lead a busy team across multiple outlets and events.


What You’ll Be Doing


This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing all commercial and hospitality catering across a vibrant school campus. You will:

  • Manage a team of 5, including a café supervisor and 2 baristas

  • Oversee a range of commercial services: café, tuckshops, horsebox unit, vending and more

  • Deliver exceptional hospitality for school events, including VIP functions and parent-facing occasions

  • Drive the success of paid-for food services, bringing creativity and commercial acumen to the offer

  • Hold full P&L accountability, hitting revenue and profit targets

  • Report weekly financials to the Contracts Director

  • Manage all bookings through Bluerunner, ensuring accuracy and professionalism

  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to tailor menus and costings for events

  • Build strong client relationships, acting as the key point of contact for catering services

  • Lead with professionalism, ensuring service excellence and stakeholder satisfaction at all times

 

What We’re Looking For

 

  • Proven experience in a similar commercial or enterprise catering role

  • A confident, client-facing professional with excellent relationship-building skills

  • Strong financial awareness and experience managing P&L performance

  • A creative mindset with the ability to adapt to trends and elevate the food offer

  • A track record of leading teams, delivering results, and maintaining high service standards

  • A flexible, reliable approach with strong organisational and communication skills
