We’re looking for a reliable Chef de Partie to join this busy kitchen team in the heart of Southwold. This is a hands-on role where you’ll take responsibility for your section, support the Head Chef, and help maintain consistent standards during prep and service.
You’ll need to be organised, steady under pressure, and comfortable working as part of a team.
The Position:
Running your section day to day, ensuring dishes are prepared, cooked and presented to a high standard
Managing stock on your section, minimising waste and supporting food GP targets
Assisting with menu development, with a focus on seasonality and quality ingredients
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene at all times
Supporting smooth service by working closely with the wider kitchen team
Helping train and guide junior chefs where needed
Keeping up to date with food trends and bringing ideas to the team
The Person:
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis ready to step up
A practical, hands-on approach
Good organisation and communication skills
Consistency and attention to detail
A genuine interest in food and hospitality
