Bread is delighted to have joined up with this prestigious and historic college in the centre of Cambridge who are on the hunt for a Catering Operations Manager. We’re looking for a candidate to be responsible for the delivery of both the kitchen and front of house operation across the college – this is a hands-on role and an amazing opportunity to oversee the entire catering operation from within the college.
We need an Operations Manager with experience from a high volume fast paced restaurant/hospitality background to plan and lead the catering & events across the college, to recruit and develop great people, maximise sales opportunities, implement control measures and ensure a quality food offering and consistently excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be driven, charismatic, focused, and passionate operator to further develop and lead this wonderful college.
Oversee the entire catering operation
Manage and support a team of managers, chefs and team members
Recruitment, training, people development and staff welfare
P & L accountability - managing costs, budgets and labour
Implementing standards and control measures
Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service and experience
Menu development and costing
Plan and deliver an exceptional catering experience
Ensure all legislative requirements are met
