Cafe Chef, Aylsham, £30'000, Daytime Hours

• 7:30am-4pm working hours

We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Chef to join this small, friendly café team. This is a sole-chef position, perfect for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in fresh, homemade food, and values a calm, respectful working environment.

You’ll be responsible for all kitchen operations — from prep to service and daily baking. The kitchen is open from 9:00am to 2:30pm, so your mornings will be spent cooking off breakfast items and afternoons are focused on baking and prep, including cakes, scones, sausage rolls, scotch eggs, and other café favourites.

As the sole chef, you’ll also take responsibility for ordering and stock management, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. The café is small, with just eight tables, so it’s a manageable and rewarding role for someone who enjoys a hands-on approach and takes pride in consistency and presentation.
