We're looking for an energetic and hands-on Assistant General Manager to be a key player at this beautiful and bustling hotel just outside of Cambridge.
What’s in it for you:
£40,000 - £43,000 OTE!
Discretionary bonuses based on hotel performance + Tips.
48 hours per week with 4 long days and 3 days off.
We’re looking for someone with:
A passion for outstanding customer service.
Proven hands-on experience in hotel management.
Ability to lead by example and motivate the team.
Flexibility to cover business needs with varying working hours.
Enthusiastic about continuous learning and improvement.
What you’ll be doing:
Lead the charge in managing the hotel in the absence of the General Manager.
Take ownership of maintenance issues during your duty days.
Dive into specific areas like the restaurant, lounge, or bar as needed.
Foster teamwork across all hotel departments.
Inspire and embody energy, enthusiasm, and positivity within the team.
Continuously enhance your product knowledge and drive staff training.
Take charge of team briefings and ensure service standards are top-notch.
Achieve set budgets and maximize sales in every aspect of the hotel.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for staff and customers.
