General Manager, Suffolk Coast, £60'000 OTE

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate General Manager to take the reins at this stunning country pub with rooms. It’s a hands-on role for someone who lives and breathes hospitality — a people-focused leader who knows how to run a busy pub and create the kind of warm, relaxed atmosphere guests remember.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and inspire the front and back of house teams to deliver exceptional food, drink, and service.

• Oversee daily operations across the pub, restaurant, and rooms — keeping everything running smoothly.

• Work closely with the Head Chef and Assistant Manager to maintain consistency and quality.

• Recruit, train, and support a happy, high-performing team.

• Manage budgets, stock, and cash to keep things on track financially.

• Build a welcoming, community-driven pub that people love coming back to.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience managing a quality pub or pub-with-rooms.

• Strong leadership with a down-to-earth, hands-on approach.

• Sound financial skills and attention to detail.

• A genuine passion for great food, local produce, and brilliant guest experiences.
