We’re looking for an experienced Cleaning Team Leader to lead a team of 14 strong cleaning team within a busy independent school in Cambridgeshire.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead by example, maintaining high cleaning standards while coordinating the team, managing rotas and holiday deep cleans, allocating tasks and ensuring the school environment is consistently safe, clean and welcoming.

You’ll also take responsibility for staff training, COSHH and health & safety, stock control, equipment, quality checks and performance management, working closely with the Facilities Manager.

About You

• Previous experience supervising or leading a cleaning team

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Excellent attention to detail and high standards

• Knowledge of COSHH, RAMS and safe working practices

• Confident managing staff, workloads and changing priorities

• Proactive, reliable and able to work independently

• Happy to be hands-on and lead from the front
