Assistant Manager - East Bergholt, Colchester - £38,000 OTE

• £38,000 on target earnings made up of basic salary, tronc and bonus scheme

We’re looking for an Assistant Manager to join a much-loved pub that’s all about great food, proper pints, and warm hospitality. Think buzzing atmosphere, loyal regulars, seasonal menus, and a team that genuinely enjoys working together.

You’ll be someone with real personality and confidence, the kind of person who makes customers feel at ease. A genuine passion for food and drink is essential, along with the knowledge to talk about it with enthusiasm.

You’ll also bring strong people skills – leading and supporting your team with positivity, empathy, and energy. High standards matter to you, but so does keeping things fresh with new ideas and ways to improve. Ideally, you’ll already have at least a year’s experience in a hospitality management role, plus three years in customer service.
