As Night Manager of this beautiful 14 Bedroom Hotel, you will be responsible for the effective running of the hotel, help in the safe evacuation of guests in the event of a fire and other health and safety critical events, assist in the overall security and running of the hotel between the hours of 23.00pm to 7.30am, 5 days per week.
You must be able to demonstrate a knowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, and other general product knowledge necessary to perform daily duties, have the ability to maximize room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities, ensure all night working team are carrying out their specific duties on shift, To be accountable for all duty manager tasks during the night hours, deal with any guest complains that may arise in the night hours.
Experience and Skills:
Previous experience within a hotel in the same capacity. Experience working nights.
Experience at Manager or Assistant level
Ability to manage & motivate a team of staff.
Possess excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
Have excellent customer service skills
Be able to work well under pressure.
