Bread Hospitality are working with an outstanding business in the Norfolk countryside who are now seeking to employ an experienced Host/Hostess to help lead, develop, and manage a whole new team when they open their doors for business for the very first time in the coming months.
We are seeking an energetic, warm, friendly Host/Hostess to join the team. As Host, you’ll already have a solid background in a busy, high-volume venue. You will have a genuine, caring nature, with the ability to make anyone feel welcome. The role is available for immediate start due to the recruitment and training of all staff required prior to the grand opening. This business is independently owned and has undergone an extensive refurbishment.
As a Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for running reservations but most importantly, for greeting and seating guests. By managing reservations efficiently, you will play an integral part in maximising covers each shift. You will be required to set the example for impeccable customer service and build great rapport with both guests and the staff.
The Responsibilities –
Previous experience as a Host/Hostess, restaurant supervisor or restaurant manager.
A strong ability to engage and make customers feel welcome.
Handling enquiries in an efficient manner.
Co-ordinate with the Restaurant team to ensure service goes to plan.
Have a passion for hospitality, food and wine and knowledge.
Have a passion for ensuring superior customer service is delivered at all times
Excellent upselling skills with a sales and standards focus to maximise revenue.
Bringing your own personality to work and encouraging others to be themselves
Able to ensure standards are maintained and further developed.
Flexibility to work week-ends and evenings.
